December 2024 Edition

Holy moly! It's December!

We've reached the proverbial finishers chute of 2024.

To an outsider, endurance sports seem like a selfish and lonely endeavor. This year we were reminded that it's the people who help us be successful. Instead of limiting our circle, we wanted to bring more people in. Our focus is on creating a supportive community, not just another club.

We believe 2024 was a podium year for all of us and we look forward to doing it again in 2025.

Endurance Summit!

We are so excited to open registration for the 2025 EnFlyte Endurance Summit! The focus will be on holistic development, integrating physical, mental, and emotional aspects to enhance overall performance.

Our featured presenters will be Angie Dye, RDN, CSSD, and Neil Shapiro, PT.

The EnFlyte Club!

We are excited to announce that registration for the EnFlyte Club will open on January 1, 2025!

With your thoughtful input, we developed a fantastic program for our members that enhances the training experience and fosters a community of support and camaraderie.

Winter is here!

As the temperatures drop and outdoor cycling takes a back seat, it’s time to shift our focus indoors.

While you may be swapping scenic roads for a stationary bike, proper fueling is key to maintaining performance and endurance.

Even winter conditions can affect your needs in surprising ways.

The article does reference specific products. Our recommendation is to stick with products that work for you!

Embrace the off-season.

Post-season blues are real, and so are the winter/holiday blues.

A few years ago, we bought cross-country skis following a fun winter of snowshoeing. Of course, we're still waiting to dust those babies off, but we're ready!

Check out some options to change up your activity in the off-season.

What's brewing:

  • Virtual group rides! Last year our group rides were hosted via the Zwift platform. Coach Jon is reviewing the TrainingPeaks Virtual app to see if this is a better option, technically and cost-wise. We will have an update by NEXT WEEK.
  • Winter Swim Clinic!! Date/location TBD.
  • EnFlyte Club opens Jan 1, 2025!
