The EnFlyte Endeavor
August 2024 Edition
Happy August!
This edition of the newsletter is packed with good info (well, at least we think so). We have a lot going on; YOU have a lot going on AND the Olympics are grabbing our attention! They're also disrupting our routines.
There are a lot of great stories that are highlighted every Olympic year. Heartbreak and celebrations grab our attention.
For us, we are reminded that progress isn't linear. These athletes devote their lives to dialing the finest points for the slightest gains that can make the difference between a gold medal and last place.
We are also reminded that race day conditions are not in your circle of control: the weather, the field, and certainly the water quality are all things outside of your control. How you manage the relationship with those factors can contribute to your success, or assist in not being your best.
Ah, Paris.
Coaches Christina & Jon
P.S. Did we forget to talk about the water quality of the Seine? No, because everyone else did that. The triathlons went off anyway...not as originally scheduled. Athletes didn't have the greatest of opportunities for practice swims, or bike course recon.
Sound familiar? Even Olympians experience uncertainty.

Steelman This Weekend!
The Steelman Triathlon (Sprint & Olympic) is this weekend! We are excited to be there supporting the local athletes. Details are in the link below. We can't wait to see your faces!
We are excited to announce a new partnership with LEVER Movement. LEVER designed offloading devices for athletes, from Olympic Gold Medalists to first-time age group triathletes.
Come back faster from running injuries and niggles, or use the device to increase your fitness through faster turnover.
LEVER attaches to your home or gym treadmill arms, reduces a portion of your body weight, and helps you exercise pain-free while running on the tread.
What's the bonus? Get 20% off when you use the code: Enflyte20
Reminder - Back Mountain Triathlon will offer a $20 cash rebate per athlete when 3+ athletes from a club sign up (enter EnFlyte upon registering). EnFlyte is a sponsor and we offer free static training plans for the Sprint and Olympic distances.
We're planning to release a new podcast episode soon.
MERCH! We've got it. If you're interested, please let us know.

The EnFlyte Endeavor January 2025 Edition Happy New Year!! Closing out 2024 with a big swim! As we close the chapter on 2024, we reflect on how far we’ve come—not just as individuals but as a community. When we first decided to follow our passion for coaching and supporting athletes like you, it wasn’t always comfortable. It didn't always feel good, but we tried to stay grounded by trusting in our vision and leaning on each other. Here's what makes this journey so rewarding: the overwhelming...
The EnFlyte Endeavor December 2024 Edition Holy moly! It's December! Just a few more steps... We've reached the proverbial finishers chute of 2024. To an outsider, endurance sports seem like a selfish and lonely endeavor. This year we were reminded that it's the people who help us be successful. Instead of limiting our circle, we wanted to bring more people in. Our focus is on creating a supportive community, not just another club. We believe 2024 was a podium year for all of us and we look...
